Archive: My Journey from Despair to Hope - Jonny Benjamin MBE (Photos)

In July 2018, Mill Hill was honoured to welcome Jonny Benjamin MBE who spoke to a group of over 100 people about living with mental illness.
Jonny told the group his story from childhood through to his diagnosis of schitzoaffective disorder and that fateful day when he was talked down from a bridge by the kindness of a stranger.

Jonny inspired everyone in the room to try to ensure the channels of communication are always kept open and that the stigma of mental illness be no more.
The work he is doing around the world to this effect is incredible and the impact on those who attended his talk will hopefully be a lasting legacy.
